Fall in Love with Portland This Autumn with These Fun Activities

Leaves cascade in colors, and Halloween haunts approach—fall has arrived in Portland! This magical season offers a variety of options to spend time with loved ones. Satisfy your harvest hunger at corn mazes and regattas of racing pumpkin boats. Or maybe you crave a fright—our haunted tours and oddities bazaars promise goosebumps. However you fill your autumn, Portland's mix of cozy joy and spooky thrill creates memories to last.

Let this be a fall to focus on gratitude and rediscover your community.

Fall in the City

One of the most unique fall Festivals in Oregon.

Spirit of Halloweentown takes place in the real city of St. Helens, Oregon. You can come walk around any weekday or weekend as the city celebrates its haunted history and movie locations from Halloweentown and Twilight with fun attractions and family activities. The courthouse plaza is home of the big pumpkin in our city, which they light on the first Saturday of October following the Big Halloween Parade and it stays lit for the month.

This expo showcases hand-selected vendors, dealers, artists and small businesses with all things weird. You'll find items such as: taxidermy, preserved specimens, original artwork, horror/halloween inspired pieces, antiques, handcrafted oddities, creepy clothing, odd jewelry, animal skulls/bones, funeral collectibles & much more. We truly have something weird for everyone at our shows. All items you see at our shows are legal to own and sustainably sourced.

Roloff Farms - Open Friday, Saturday & Sunday October 1st thru October 29th

Roloff Farms started as a small fixer-upper on 34 acres of possibilities. The beaten-up old farmhouse, broken-down barn, and overgrown peach orchard have grown and transformed into an over 100-acre 'agritainment' extravaganza. Over the years, the original structures and equally fanciful new ones have become favorite tourist attractions for the many people who visit the farm during Pumpkin Season when it is open to the public every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in October.

Mexican culture emphasizes the commonality of all people. The Day of the Dead (Día de Muertos) reflects the Mexican belief that we are not truly dead until we are no longer remembered by someone who is still alive. Check out the calendar of events and discover artwork installations, ofrendas, and a few very special events.
